Shoe fair GDS 2015
At GDS - International event for shoes & accessories showcase from the 29th of July to the 31st July, 2015.
Düsseldorf - This year the focuse of the international event for shoes & accessories showcase lies on information and inspiration. "Our measures are specifically geared towards the needs of the visitors and to give them a comprehensive overview of trends of the new collections and of the suppliers," said Werner Matthias Dornscheidt, President and CEO of Messe Dusseldorf. "We offer not only inspiration for the assortment of suppliers, but also inspiration for their merchandising and business model development."
The fair halls are divided into three themes: world high street, studio and pop up. These three themes will provide the trade visitor again a quick and clear orientation. In the area of high street, the contecpt area in hall five has been expanded. "Our new concept was received by the visitor very well. Not only international big players were able to win labels but also small exciting ones were able t" said Kirten Deutelmoser.
The area studio comes up with new and high-quality brands. The pop-up area can be found in Hall 10. "We have the area POP UP again moved closer to the entire trade fair with the move to the hall 10," explained Kirstin Deutelmoser. Here the visitor can make exciting new discoveries beyond the mainstream. More than 100 brands are represented in this hall at the fair. Also 10 of the catwalks will be "walked on" daily in this hall. The stage will shoe the trends of spring and the summer season of the year 2016.
Current innovations are set in hall five. The Forum is a point wehre you can see seasonal but also seasonally overarching innovations and materials to feel.
Also in 2015, the GDS concept design trendsetter is consistently on going. "In addition of providing comprehensive information, we see it as our task as a fair to promote creativity. Following the positive feedback that we have obtained we look forward, therefore, to this years GDS"says Kirstin Deutelmoser, Director of the GDS.
On Friday, the 31st of July the festival out of the box will be held in addition for the second time. Visitors can look forward to several exciting events all around the city. The highlight will be the first major Deichmann High Heel Run on the Graf-Adolf-Platz, moderated by the TV face Peyman Amin.
