Construction works at the Kö-Bogen-Tunnel

North-West direction closed of for three nights

The Kö-Bogen's North-West-Tunnel will be fully closed off in the three nights between Monday and Thursday, March 30th and April 2nd, during 9 P.M. to 6 A.M.

Düsseldorf - The construction works are of preparative nature to later connect the North-South-tunnel with the existing North-West-Tunnel. A provisional thoroughfare was therefore constructed beforehand.

As a preliminary measure, the North-West-Tunnel's electricity is removed in certain areas, resulting in northern access to the West to be closed off. Vehicle access from the North into the subterranean garage Libeskind will not be possible after 9 P.M. and it cannot be departed afterwards either. All other connections remain opened. During they day there are no alterations to the traffic routing.

The detour leads from the North leads via the Maximilian-Weyhe-Allee and the Heinrich-Heine-Allee South.
